think. then shop.

Check out this brand-new, on-line marketplace I'm joining! They sell only fair trade, upcycled, organic, handmade products, and their name says it all: Ethikl.

They answer the question of  "What is ethical shopping?" like this:
The idea of “ethical consumerism” or “conscious consuming” is a social movement based around the idea that people should be mindful of the impact their purchases have on the environment and the health and well being of the people involved in making those products.

I urge you to read more here

The founder of Ethikl, Peita Gardiman, also authors a pretty cool blog. You can check that out here

  1. I checked this out-and really enjoyed it! Good luck with selling your wonderful products on this site. I still LOVE my flap over tote bag I bought from you at the Blue Hill Fair grounds farmers market last summer it's a horse one)! Its traveled down here to N. Carolina with me-and I cant wait to travel it on back to Maine-even though its considerably colder and snowier there! Have a great week-keep stitching--!! Rain

  2. Thanks for getting in touch! I love to hear where my bags have ended up. It has been quite the snowy, cold winter here for sure. To say I'm looking forward to spring would be an understatement!
