talk to professional bakers, listen to live music, find antique baking
tools, beautiful kitchen linens, and scythes, get tips from King Arthur
Flour experts about the use of their various baking flours, watch
demos, and eat superb Maine made foods.

The Winter Harbor Lobster Festival is a fun filled day with many
scheduled events. Watch the ever popular lobster boat races, shop at the
craft fair with over 80 exhibitors, eat a Miane lobster dinner, and
stay to watch the late afternoon parade!

Machias Blueberry Festival Machias, ME
Come celebrate the powerful little fruit that put our corner of Downeast
Maine on the map. Centre Street Congregational Church, UCC, rolls out
the blue carpet each August with crafts, food, entertainment, contests,

26th Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival Wells, ME
This prestigious event brings nearly 100 artisans, selected by jury, to
exhibit their wares for thousands of browsers. Music, food, and
environmental education round out the 2-day festival, which takes place
on the spectacular Laudholm campus of the Wells National Estuarine
Research Reserve.

Acadia's Oktoberfest Southwest Harbor, ME
A Maine Saturday afternoon in the beauty of Mount Desert Islands' fall
colors, the sound of music, dozens of Maine brews and crafts galore make
this end-of-the- season one of Maine's largest and most successful
festivals. The date is October 6th from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. and is
held at Smuggler's Den Campground in Southwest Harbor and is recognized
as one of the outstanding celebrations in New England.
