the perfect business card

I know this might sound a little wacky to some of you who might not be as fanatical as I am about recycling, but... I have been dilemma-tizing for weeks about buying card stock to print my business cards on! I just can't stand the thought of purchasing brand new virgin paper, and then hoping that after I'm done printing and cutting and handing out the finished product, it just doesn't end up in the waste stream- un-recycled!
I know, I know... all who receive one of my business cards will treasure it and always hold it dear...
But just in case, why not eliminate (most of) the problem, and print it on TRASH to begin with? The idea is beyond brilliant- check it out here

  1. Oh how perfect for you! I ordered a stamp a few years back to use as our return address on correspondence. I was so excited to use it, but when it arrived the print was so teeny, tiny that it looked ridiculous...I still have it though! Oh by the way, I thought of you when we bought our recent 25 lb. of sunflower seeds...and I will be saving the bag for you this time, instead of where it has always gone before. Your blog is a good thing!!!

  2. I had thought of something similar to this awhile back, but thought "naw, that's crazy" but now I feel OK to do it! Funny how that works!
And thanks for saving the bags for me- I am going to post a 'wanted' sign at Agway for the 'egg layer' bags (with the chicken silhouette)which is my best seller- the sunflower ones are very popular too. Thanks!

  3. remaker: And the fact that this particular card was designed for an 'environmental consultant' makes it over the top brilliant!

  4. I do all my cards hand stamped and sew the two layers together with organic thread. Profitable no, worth while yes.

  9. Thea- Let me know where you find your stamp- I've looked a little bit online but haven't found anything that is the right size (in a pre-inked style).
So nice to know you enjoy my blog- thank you!
