I've been busily working on some fun new designs and finding lots of 'new' recycled materials to feed my passion! Pictured here are burlap coffee bean bags, Maine grain sacks, rescued seat belts, designer fabric samples, and of course... pet food bags!
These styles and many others can be found at The Maine Grind in Ellsworth, Works of Hand in Winter Harbor, and coming soon to the Center for Maine Craft pop-up store in The Maine Mall, South Portland!
Hi Julia, just wanted to tell you again how fabulous your bags are! (I bought 3 for me and 1 for a friend today, and the friend with me also bought one). Hope you did well, Hallowell is pretty small... I'll keep an eye out for feed and grain bags (I have friends w/ horses & chickens, and we have dogs). Maybe I'll see you in Unity in September. -Lisa (this is my second try posting a comment, let's see if it works!)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I love it when I meet people who actually 'get' my work! Nice chatting with you and your friend - Enjoy your bags :)
ReplyDeletePS - It was a great show!
I just blathered about your bags on my blog...
ReplyDeleteThanks! I didn't know you had a blog - I'll have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteLove the burlap coffee bean ones! ~Lili
ReplyDelete@Lili: thanks! Those have been a big hit with my 'higher end' clientele. They are quite labor intensive to make, so I don't get many finished!
